Burn Gorman

Burn Gorman, born 1st September 1974 in Hollywood, America, is best known for his role as Owen Harper in Torchwood.

Recently, he has filmed Sex, The City And Me (BBC), an episode of Miss Marple (ITV), as well as a crime thriller, The Oxford Murders, alongside Elijah Wood. He's also scheduled to appear in a film alongside Vince Vaughan and Kevin Spacey.

Gorman has appeared as William Guppy in the BAFTA award-winning Charles Dickens' Bleak House (BBC), and in the BAFTA nominated political thriller Low Winter Sun (Tiger Aspect/Channel 4) in the same year.

Other television credits include Funland (BBC3), A Good Thief (Granada), Dalziel and Pascoe (BBC One), Casualty, Merseybeat, and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries (BBC). He has also guest starred in EastEnders.

He has also peformed on stage in Ladybird (Royal Court), Flush (Soho Theatre), and The Green Man and Gong Donkeys (Bush Theatre).

Fans will also know Gorman as a musician, and he has played in many bars and clubs worldwide.
